Our Programs
Statewide Partner Pitch Events
Innovate Mississippi, its Partners, and the Mississippi Small Business Development Center Network co-host eight regional pitch competitions to support entrepreneurs and promote innovation across the state. Each event features two competition tracks—High-Growth Innovation & Technology and Traditional & Main Street Businesses (MSBDCN Track)—providing opportunities for a wide variety of founders. Participants compete for cash prizes, gain valuable exposure, and, for high-growth ventures, have the chance to qualify for the CoBuilders Accelerator.
CoBuilders
CoBuilders is Mississippi’s first statewide accelerator, fast-tracking early-stage startups toward growth and investment readiness. The 12-week program brings together up to ten startups selected through regional pitch events hosted by local partners across the state. Participants receive SAFE investments, expert mentorship, and personalized coaching to refine their business model, validate market fit, and prepare for fundraising. The program culminates in a high-energy Pitch Day, giving founders exposure to investors, partners, and ecosystem leaders across Mississippi and beyond.
FoundersPlus
FoundersPlus supports women and minority entrepreneurs by providing the resources, guidance, and network they need to grow.The program offers targeted business training, expert-led webinars, and personalized mentorship to help founders refine their ideas and strengthen their business strategies. Participants gain access to virtual office hours, pitch development support, and networking opportunities, along with eligibility for zero-interest LaunchFund loans that provide critical early-stage capital. By focusing on underrepresented entrepreneurs, FoundersPlus helps build a more inclusive and resilient startup ecosystem across Mississippi.
